These terms cover your use of the Security Services Orlando website, operated by Nexus Security Firm. They do not cover the delivery of security services themselves, which is governed by a separate written service agreement signed by both parties. Where anything on this page conflicts with a signed service agreement, the service agreement takes precedence.

Using this website

You are welcome to use this site to research our coverage and to get in touch about an engagement. You agree not to use it to send unlawful, deceptive or harmful material, to attempt unauthorised access to any system, to harvest contact details for unsolicited marketing, or to disrupt the operation of the site. You must be 18 or older to submit information through any form here.

Nothing on this page is a binding offer

Everything published here is general information. Service descriptions, coverage areas, staffing timelines and the rate ranges shown on our service pages are illustrative and do not constitute a binding offer or a guarantee that any particular service, officer classification or timeframe is available. Availability depends on scheduling, licensing, location and our capacity at the time you ask.

The estimators on this site return a modelled range from published wage and bill rate data. They are a planning aid rather than a quotation. A rate becomes binding only when we issue it to you in writing and you accept it in writing. No obligation arises from submitting a form, downloading a guide, or from any statement published on this site.

What our security services are and are not

Nexus Security Firm is a licensed private security agency operating under Florida Agency License B 1900066, regulated by the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services under Chapter 493 of the Florida Statutes. Our unarmed officers hold Class D licenses and our armed officers additionally hold Class G statewide firearm licenses.

Officers provide observation, deterrence, access control, reporting and lawful response within the limits of their licensing and the post orders agreed for your property. Security officers are not law enforcement officers and hold no police powers. They do not have authority to arrest or to detain, and they escalate to law enforcement rather than intervening physically, except where necessary to protect themselves or another person from immediate harm.

No security provider can eliminate the risk of crime, loss, injury or property damage. Our services are intended to reduce that risk. They do not guarantee any particular outcome, and nothing on this site should be read as promising one.

Your responsibilities

• Give us accurate information about the property, its known risks and any prior incidents
• Provide safe and lawful access to the site for officers assigned to it
• Nominate a point of contact who can be reached when something needs escalating
• Maintain your own property and liability insurance, since our coverage does not stand in place of yours
• Meet any conditions imposed by your insurer, your lender, or the authority having jurisdiction over your building

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent Florida law allows, Nexus Security Firm is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profit, lost revenue or business interruption, arising from your use of this website.

Liability connected with the delivery of security services is governed solely by the limitation of liability, indemnification and insurance clauses of the signed service agreement covering that engagement rather than by this page.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Nexus Security Firm harmless against claims, losses or damages, including reasonable legal costs, arising from your misuse of this website or from your breach of these terms.

Third party services

This site relies on services operated by others, including Google Analytics for usage measurement, an embedded Google Maps frame on the contact page, and FormSubmit for delivering form submissions to us. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their availability, their content or their data practices. Our privacy policy sets out what is shared with them.

Intellectual property

The written content, layout and design of this site belong to Nexus Security Firm or are used under license. You may not republish or redistribute substantial portions of it without our written permission. Photographs on this site are licensed stock images depicting models. They are illustrative of the type of work described and do not depict our officers, our clients or specific assignments.

Accuracy and availability

We work to keep this site accurate and online, though we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error free or entirely current. Licensing details, coverage areas, service descriptions and rate ranges change over time. Current license status for our agency and for any individual officer can be verified independently through the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services licensing portal.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from your use of this website will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts sitting in Orange County, Florida, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.

Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms. Revisions take effect once posted, and the date at the top of this page will change to reflect it. Continuing to use the site after a revision means you accept the revised version.
